Porto Presidiana in Cefalù: between tradition and relaxation

At the foot of the majestic Rocca di Cefalù, on the eastern side of the village, there is the Porto Presidiana, also known as Porto Nuovo. A place where the rhythm of the sea meets the maritime tradition and a postcard landscape.

Protected by a system of piers and a deck about 250 meters long, the port extends for over half a kilometer and is framed by the suggestive Punta Calura, a rocky promontory overlooked by a tower dating back to the sixteenth century.

Presidiana is still used today by the fishing community of Cefalu, but over the years it has also become a favorite destination for tourists: ideal for a walk on the sea, to enjoy breathtaking views or go on a boat trip.

Easily reachable from the historic center on foot or by shuttle, the port also offers restaurants and nautical rental services, for those looking for a day in the clear waters of the coast.
